Peace of Music Chidrens Choir

"Singing has a way of making our world a little more sane, and Singing Together, more so. The Peace of Music Troyeville Children' s choir came from that vision, and has inspired a journey that from small beginnings will hopefully reach out to embrace the greater Troyeville's children as a whole. When we sing, we learn not only beautiful songs, but also about the world around us, and ourselves and each other in relation to it. Some of us come to sing, not having eaten for the whole day. That's not fun... a sandwich and some fruit go a long way to make the song more joyful. The core of what we learn has to do with self-respect, self-esteem and using music to heal our community. And what better way to do it, than through song?" read more
