Nedbank Corporate Property Finance is funding R840 million for the development of a new head office for Alexander Forbes in Sandton, on behalf of Zenprop Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

The winners of the Pick 'n Pay 'Star of the Stars' award for September, October and November were officially rewarded during a special handover ceremony in Sandton on the 26 November 2010.  Each team received a R5 000 Pick 'n Pay voucher and a certificate recognising them as the 'Star of the Stars' for the respective months.

Disney Channel will come alive this Christmas in a 14-day Disney extravaganza at Sandton City. The event, which takes place from Friday, 10 to Friday, 24 December, will showcase regular stage events and individually themed zones recreating Disney Channel favourites, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jonas LA and Camp Rock 2 and Phinneas and Ferb.

An exhibition showcasing public art around the world recently launched at Burgher's Walk, Sandton Central as part of the Sandton Central Management District's (SCMD) Outdoor Exhibition Programme. Curated by AAW Art Project Management, the exhibition puts the spotlight on all disciplines of the arts in public space, from permormative and temporary installations to landmark city sculptures.
